Shanel Vivas is redefining Hawai’i real estate through a superior level of service, innovative marketing, and highly personalized experiences. Shanel started her real estate career while she lived in Washington State for five years. She realized she had a talent for navigating individuals and families through the ever-changing home-buying and selling journey. The experience allowed Shanel to define the level of service she offered to her clients. No matter who her client is, Shanel is continuously attentive to their needs while executing out-of-the-box marketing strategies and going with a meticulous approach to searching for homes. With all of her past life experiences, Shanel brings a degree of passion and attention to detail to make the home buying or selling experience as seamless and stress-free as possible.

Shanel’s career path started when she attended the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing. She has worked to help others with her experience as a flight attendant with Hawaiian Airlines, which allows her to hone her customer service skills and gives her the ability to be diligent and responsible. Her other prior work experiences include managing a team to provide a seamless and peaceful experience, something she does daily in real estate. Shanel ultimately chose Hawai’i Modern Realty as her brokerage because they offer all the tools, support, and information she needs to best serve her buyers and sellers.

As a resident of Hawai’i for most of her life, Shanel has lived all over O’ahu. From being born and raised in Kahuku on the North Shore to also living in Kaimuki and Ewa Beach, Shanel loves that each area has its own close-knit community that breeds pride, a sense of community, and loyalty. College brought her to move to the Honolulu area from Nu’uanu on the Pali to some time on the west side in Ewa and back to Kaimuki. Currently, Shanel calls Ahuimanu on the east side home. There, she lives with her two energetic boys and a baby girl.

The most exciting part of her job is not only meeting and building relationships, but also being a part of such a big milestone in a family or an individual's life.
